Believe it or not this is the first time that I ever consider writing. Writing something that actually makes sense (atleast to me). I don’t read any kind of literature. Not even magazines. I hate reading or writing. Im sure you think I hate school, no I don’t. I just hate the part when professors asks me to read or write anything. I mean I know how to I just dont like doing it. A lot of my friends like to read novels ang stuff and I always wonder why. I mean I still don’t read those things but I think now I know why they like it. I think.
If you like to write, you must like to read too. huh. Not necessarily, not in my case. I’ve only read one whole novel my entire life. Ofcourse I remember the title. It’s called The Wander Girl but I dont know who the author is. Am I supposed to? I still remember what it’s about though. Yeah I know, I should atleast know that right? Fine. It’s about a girl who likes to travel and met her first real love while travelling but they didn’t end up being together because…because…I don’t know. Shut up. I know how the story ends. She ended up with a guy from where she is from originally and they got married…I think. I’m not sure. Well atleast Im not lying. I’ll read the damn book again! Not!
I’m sure there are different rules in writing. Im sure I learned that in college. Im sure. But I guess basically, if you can talk then you can write. Coz to me writing is your brain talking. And if there’s one thing I know how to do is let my brain talk. Im sure if you ask my dad or my husband they’ll both say talking is my talent. Thats not true, though, for most people. Alot of People think I’m the most boring person coz I don’t talk. I swear ask my friends…ask everyone who knows me. But yeah, I guess I can write if I just let my brain do all the talking. Obviously I dont know and I’m not following any writing protocol. Hey! Im a first timer, let me enjoy this for a sec.
I wrote my very first essay on myspace. It was after I talked to David for five hours on the phone. It was the first time we heard each others voice and we were both astonished by the things we talked about. Eversince then we coudln’t stop talking. We talk everyday for hours about anything and everything. No insecurities what so ever. To this day.
I get interested with so many new things because of the conversations we have each time. We talked about his hobbies and i tell you he has a lot. But mainly he loves the ocean, so most of his pastimes has something to do with sea stuff. I think my favorite is fishing. Last week when my husband was here, we went fishing and he thought me the basics. It was my first time ever to go fishing but most importantly my first time to ever catch a fish. I enjoyed it big time. Everything about it was pretty amazing; Fishing…catching a fish…eating it. (check out The Perfect Day)
David and my dad have a lot of things in common. They both like to eat seafood, for one. Crabs, shrips, squid, LOBSTERS and stuff like that. Oh my veggies! (aka OMG) Speaking of lobsters. David ordered lobsters for our anniversary dinner date and, oh my goodness, It’s the best creature I’ve ever eaten. David calls it ’sex in your mouth’. It the truth, if there’s such a thing. He caught a lobster near his house (I should say our house right? hhmmmm…) it’s like 5 times the size of one of the lobsters we had for dinner that night. It’s so big I had to give it a name, Tanky the lobster. But anyway, I swear I’ve never tasted anything like that in my life. I thought it would taste like crabs but no. Crabs aren’t ’sex in your mouth’, it’s more like ‘cuts on your hands’.
Because I’m loving the sea, I told David I wanted to buy a boat. He liked the idea and he said as soon as I get to the states we’re gonna save money and buy a boat. Im so excited. The idea of going to a different country and starting up a new life there sound really exciting to me already. Sad and scary but exciting (check out Leaving Home). Im sure I’m gonna have alot more first times there.
